The Adjutant General provides for the regulation
of the Ohio National Guard, the Ohio Military
Reserve and the Ohio Naval Militia, determines
the amount of bonds required of officers,
and is custodian of all real and personal
property belonging to the state militia. The
Adjutant General is custodian of all military
records, correspondence and military documents,
and is responsible for the promulgation of
all orders issued in the name of the Commander-in-Chief,
including aid to civil authorities in the
suppression of disorders.
